PK<\/b><\/i> (transl.<\/abbr> Tipsy; Hindi pronunciation:\u00a0<\/small>[pi\u02d0ke\u02d0]<\/a><\/span>) is a 2014 Indian satirical<\/a> comedy-drama<\/a>[c]<\/a><\/sup> film directed by Rajkumar Hirani<\/a> and written by Hirani and Abhijat Joshi<\/a>. It was jointly produced by Hirani and Vidhu Vinod Chopra<\/a> under the banners Rajkumar Hirani Films and Vinod Chopra Films<\/a> respectively. The film follows an alien who comes to Earth on a research mission, but loses his remote to a thief, who later sells it to a godman<\/a>. He befriends a television journalist and in his quest to retrieve the remote, questions religious dogmas and superstitions<\/a>. The film stars Aamir Khan<\/a> in the titular role with Anushka Sharma<\/a>, Boman Irani<\/a>, Saurabh Shukla<\/a> and Sanjay Dutt<\/a> in pivotal roles. Ranbir Kapoor<\/a> and Sushant Singh Rajput<\/a> appear in cameo roles.<\/p>\n
