Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again<\/b><\/i> is a 2018 jukebox musical<\/a> romantic comedy<\/a> film written and directed by Ol Parker<\/a>, from a story by Parker, Catherine Johnson<\/a>, and Richard Curtis<\/a>. It is a follow-up to the 2008 film Mamma Mia!<\/a><\/i>, which in turn is based on the musical of the same name<\/a> using the music of ABBA<\/a>. The film features an ensemble cast<\/a>, including Lily James<\/a>, Amanda Seyfried<\/a>, Christine Baranski<\/a>, Julie Walters<\/a>, Pierce Brosnan<\/a>, Andy Garc\u00eda<\/a>, Dominic Cooper<\/a>, Colin Firth<\/a>, Stellan Skarsg\u00e5rd<\/a>, Jessica Keenan Wynn<\/a>, Alexa Davies<\/a>, Jeremy Irvine<\/a>, Josh Dylan<\/a>, Hugh Skinner<\/a>, Cher<\/a>, and Meryl Streep<\/a>. Both a prequel<\/a> and a sequel<\/a>, the plot is set after the events of the first film, and also features flashbacks to 1979, telling the story of Donna Sheridan’s arrival on the island of Kalokairi and her first meetings with her daughter Sophie’s three possible fathers.<\/p>\n

In 1979 young Donna, Tanya and Rosie graduate from Oxford University — leaving Donna free to embark on a series of adventures throughout Europe. On her journeys, she makes the acquaintances of Harry, Bill and Sam — the latter whom she falls in love with, but he’s also the man who breaks her heart. In the present day, Donna’s pregnant daughter, Sophie, dreams of renovating a taverna while reuniting with her mother’s old friends and boyfriends on the Greek island of Kalokairi.<\/span><\/div><\/div><\/span><\/p>\n
