It is a\u00a0sequel<\/a>\u00a0to the 2013 film,\u00a0Yamla Pagla Deewana 2<\/a><\/i>\u00a0and the third installment of\u00a0Yamla Pagla Deewana<\/i>\u00a0film series<\/a>.[1]<\/a><\/sup>[2]<\/a><\/sup>\u00a0The film stars\u00a0Dharmendra<\/a>,\u00a0Sunny Deol<\/a>,\u00a0Bobby Deol<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Kriti Kharbanda<\/a>\u00a0in lead roles and had its worldwide theatrical release on 31 August 2018.[3]<\/a><\/sup><\/p>\n

The sequel was announced after the success of the original, and the project began filming in September 2012. The first look of the film was also unveiled after its first schedule was completed also in September 2012. The sequel features the trio of\u00a0Dharmendra<\/a>,\u00a0Sunny Deol<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Bobby Deol<\/a>\u00a0reprising their roles, with\u00a0Neha Sharma<\/a>\u00a0and debutant\u00a0Kristina Akheeva<\/a>\u00a0as female leads.\u00a0Yamla Pagla Deewana 2<\/i>\u00a0released on 7 June 2013, and received mixed to negative response. The third installment of the series was released on 31 August 2018 reprising the original lead male actors and Kirti Kharbanda as actress.
