Ghost of Tsushima<\/b><\/i>\u00a0is a 2020\u00a0action-adventure game<\/a>\u00a0developed by\u00a0Sucker Punch Productions<\/a>\u00a0and published by\u00a0Sony Interactive Entertainment<\/a>. The player controls Jin Sakai, a\u00a0samurai<\/a>\u00a0on a quest to protect\u00a0Tsushima Island<\/a>\u00a0during the\u00a0first Mongol invasion of Japan<\/a>. Jin must choose between following the warrior code to fight honorably, or using practical but dishonorable methods of repelling the Mongols with minimal casualties. The game features a large\u00a0open world<\/a>\u00a0which can be explored either on foot or on horseback. When facing enemies, the player can choose to engage in a direct confrontation using Jin’s\u00a0katana<\/a>\u00a0or to become a legendary warrior known as “the Ghost” by using\u00a0stealth<\/a>\u00a0tactics to assassinate opponents. A\u00a0multiplayer<\/a>\u00a0mode titled\u00a0Ghost of Tsushima: Legends<\/i>\u00a0was released in October 2020 and made available separately in September 2021.<\/p>\n

The game was released for\u00a0PlayStation 4<\/a>\u00a0in July 2020, and an expanded version for PlayStation 4 and\u00a0PlayStation 5<\/a>, subtitled\u00a0Director’s Cut<\/i>\u00a0and featuring the\u00a0Iki Island<\/i>\u00a0expansion, was released in August 2021. The Windows version of\u00a0Director’s Cut<\/i>, developed by\u00a0Nixxes Software<\/a>, was released in May 2024.\u00a0<\/div><\/div><\/span><\/p>\n
