Duvvada Jagannadham<\/b><\/i>\u00a0or\u00a0DJ<\/b><\/i>\u00a0is a 2017 Indian\u00a0Telugu<\/a>-language\u00a0action comedy<\/a>\u00a0film written and directed by\u00a0Harish Shankar<\/a>\u00a0and produced by\u00a0Dil Raju<\/a>\u00a0under his banner\u00a0Sri Venkateswara Creations<\/a>. The film stars\u00a0Allu Arjun<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Pooja Hegde<\/a>. Devi Sri Prasad composed the film’s music while\u00a0Ayananka Bose<\/a>\u00a0handled the cinematography.\u00a0Principal photography<\/a>\u00a0commenced in August 2016 in\u00a0Hyderabad<\/a>.<\/sup>\u00a0Abu Dhabi<\/a><\/sup>was also a filming location; the production crew chose\u00a0Abu Dhabi<\/a>, as they would benefit from the Emirate’s 30% film production rebate. It is also dubbed in Hindi as\u00a0DJ<\/i>.<\/p>\n

Duvvada Jagannatham Sastry (Allu Arjun<\/a>) is a small town\u00a0Shaiva<\/a>\u00a0Brahmin<\/a>\u00a0Pujari<\/a>\u00a0boy who goes against all odds and helps others. Seeing this quality of his, a high-profile cop (Murali Sharma<\/a>) asks him to become DJ, a man who fights crime in disguise. This is the same time when Jagannatham falls in love with Pooja (Pooja Hegde<\/a>) the daughter of a high profile minister (Posani Krishna Murali) involved with yet another crime lord Royyala Naidu (Rao Ramesh<\/a>) who also operates in disguise. On the other hand, DJ decides to take on Royyala Naidu in his mission but does not know who he is in actual life. Rest of the story is as to how Duvvada Jagannadham alias DJ manages to finish Royyala Naidu.<\/div><\/div>\n
