83<\/b><\/i>\u00a0is a 2021 Indian\u00a0Hindi<\/a>-language\u00a0sports<\/a>\u00a0drama film<\/a>\u00a0directed by\u00a0Kabir Khan<\/a>\u00a0and produced by\u00a0Deepika Padukone<\/a>, Kabir Khan,\u00a0Vishnu Vardhan Induri<\/a>,\u00a0Sajid Nadiadwala<\/a>,\u00a0Reliance Entertainment<\/a>\u00a0and 83 Film Ltd.[6]<\/a><\/sup>[7]<\/a><\/sup>\u00a0Based on the\u00a0India national cricket team<\/a>\u00a0led by\u00a0Kapil Dev<\/a>, which won the\u00a01983 Cricket World Cup<\/a>, the film’s story and dialogues were co-written by Khan, along with\u00a0Sanjay Puran Singh Chauhan<\/a>, Vasan Bala and Sumit Arora. It stars\u00a0Ranveer Singh<\/a>\u00a0as Dev and Padukone as Romi Bhatia, Dev’s wife, featuring an\u00a0ensemble cast<\/a>\u00a0of\u00a0Pankaj Tripathi<\/a>,\u00a0Tahir Raj Bhasin<\/a>,\u00a0Jiiva<\/a>,\u00a0Saqib Saleem<\/a>,\u00a0Jatin Sarna<\/a>,\u00a0Chirag Patil<\/a>, Dinker Sharma, Nishant Dahiya,\u00a0Harrdy Sandhu<\/a>,\u00a0Sahil Khattar<\/a>,\u00a0Ammy Virk<\/a>,\u00a0Adinath Kothare<\/a>, Dhairya Karwa and R Badree. The\u00a0cinematography<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0editing<\/a>\u00a0were handled by\u00a0Aseem Mishra<\/a>\u00a0and Nitin Baid, respectively.
