The era when Samurai and Ninja existed in Japan. Rikka Isurugi was born and raised in a Ninja clan secluded from society. She soon meets Miya, a girl with a mysterious power, who is found lost in the mountains. As Rikka is concerned that someone is pursuing Miya, she also asks the head the of Isurugi Ninja Clan for permission to avenger her father’s death. It is a\u00a0tokusatsu<\/a><\/i>\u00a0action period film that was produced as a live-action spin-off of the anime film\u00a0BLACKFOX<\/a>,<\/i>\u00a0which opened in theaters on 5 October 2019.\u00a0BLACKFOX: Age of the Ninja<\/i>\u00a0is a prequel to the\u00a0anime<\/a>\u00a0film, as its main character Rikka Isurugi\u2014a female\u00a0ninja<\/a>\u00a0who fought during the\u00a0Edo period<\/a>\u2014is the ancestor of the main character of the anime film.
