It’s a story of a simple village couple from Bangladesh<\/a> who comes to Taki<\/a> for the treatment of their ailing daughter. Their life and struggle has been portrayed in the film.<\/p>\n

Shankhachil is well received by critics.\u00a0It has won the Best Feature Film in Bengali<\/a> award at 63rd National Film Awards<\/a>. It has also been selected for Montreal World Film Festival<\/a>.<\/p>\n
