It took place on October 25, 2020 (originally November 1) at the\u00a0Amway Center<\/a>\u00a0in\u00a0Orlando, Florida<\/a>. It was the twelfth event under the\u00a0Hell in a Cell<\/a>\u00a0chronology and featured WWE’s virtual fan viewing experience called ThunderDome.<\/p>\n

Seven matches were contested at the event, including one on the Kickoff pre-show. In the main event,\u00a0Randy Orton<\/a>\u00a0defeated\u00a0Drew McIntyre<\/a>\u00a0in a\u00a0Hell in a Cell match<\/a>\u00a0to win the\u00a0WWE Championship<\/a>\u00a0for a tenth time. In other Hell in a Cell matches also contested,\u00a0Roman Reigns<\/a>\u00a0defeated\u00a0Jey Uso<\/a>\u00a0to retain the\u00a0Universal Championship<\/a>\u00a0(which was also contested in an\u00a0“I Quit” match<\/a>), and\u00a0Sasha Banks<\/a>\u00a0defeated\u00a0Bayley<\/a>\u00a0to win the\u00a0SmackDown Women’s Championship<\/a>, ending Bayley’s title reign at 380 days.<\/div><\/div><\/span><\/p>\n
