Govindudu Andarivadele<\/b><\/i> (English: The lord is a people’s man<\/i>), also known by the acronym<\/a> GAV<\/b><\/i>, is a 2014 Indian Telugu-language<\/a> drama<\/a> film written and directed by Krishna Vamsi<\/a> and produced by Bandla Ganesh<\/a> for Parameswara Art Productions<\/a>. The film features Ram Charan<\/a>, Srikanth<\/a>, Kajal Aggarwal<\/a> and Kamalinee Mukherjee<\/a> in the lead roles, while Prakash Raj<\/a>, Jayasudha<\/a>, Rahman<\/a> and Adarsh Balakrishna<\/a> play supporting roles. Yuvan Shankar Raja<\/a> composed the film’s soundtrack<\/a> and score while Sameer Reddy<\/a> worked as the cinematographer.<\/p>\n

The film is partially inspired by the 1991 Telugu film Seetharamaiah Gari Manavaralu<\/a><\/i> directed by Kranthi Kumar<\/a>. Govindudu Andarivadele<\/i> portrays a “non-residential Indian<\/a>” named Abhiram who visits his grandfather Balaraju’s house as a student of agriculture. He actually came to reconcile the differences between his father, Chandrasekhar Rao, and Balaraju. The pair parted ways as Chadrasekhar went to the US while Balaraju stayed and built a charitable hospital for local people. Abhiram succeeds in winning over family members, and Balaraju understands the truth behind Abhiram and his attempts.<\/p>\n

The film was officially announced in Hyderabad on 6 February 2014. Principal photography<\/a> commenced from the same day and ended on 22 September 2014. A large portion of the film was shot in Hyderabad<\/a>, Rameswaram<\/a>, Nagercoil<\/a>, Kanyakumari<\/a>, Pollachi<\/a> and Karaikudi<\/a> in India while significant portions were shot in London<\/a> and Jordan<\/a>. The film was released worldwide on 1 October 2014 to positive reviews from critics. The film became one of the highest grossing Telugu films of 2014. It was dubbed into Malayalam<\/a> and Tamil<\/a> as Ekalavya<\/i> and Ram Leela<\/i> respectively.<\/i> The movie is dubbed into Hindi<\/a> as Yevadu 2<\/i>.<\/p>\n

Abhiram(Ram Charan) is a handsome looking NRI, who is born and brought up in London. Even though he lives abroad, Abhiram loves Indian culture and family values. One fine day, he comes to know about his dad’s past which is related back to a huge family based in India.In order to fulfill his dad’s dream, Abhiram lands in India. There he finds out that his roots are based in the joint family of Balaraju(Prakash Raju). Rest of the story is as to how Abhiram manages to successfully enter the family, and wins the love of everyone.<\/div><\/div>\n
