Frozen<\/b><\/i> is a 2013 American 3D<\/a> computer-animated<\/a> musical<\/a> fantasy film<\/a> produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios<\/a> and released by Walt Disney Pictures<\/a>.[5]<\/a><\/sup> The 53rd Disney animated feature film<\/a>, it is inspired by Hans Christian Andersen<\/a>‘s fairy tale “The Snow Queen<\/a>“.[6]<\/a><\/sup> It tells the story of a fearless princess who sets off on a journey alongside a rugged iceman<\/a>, his loyal reindeer<\/a>, and a naive snowman<\/a> to find her estranged sister, whose icy powers have inadvertently trapped their kingdom in eternal winter.\u00a0Frozen<\/i> underwent several story treatments<\/a> before being commissioned<\/a> in 2011, with a screenplay written by Jennifer Lee<\/a>, who also co-directed with Chris Buck<\/a>. The film features the voices of Kristen Bell<\/a>, Idina Menzel<\/a>, Jonathan Groff<\/a>, Josh Gad<\/a>, and Santino Fontana<\/a>. Christophe Beck<\/a> was hired to compose the film’s orchestral score, while Robert Lopez<\/a> and Kristen Anderson-Lopez<\/a> wrote the songs.<\/p>\n
