Chal Mera Putt<\/b><\/i> is a 2019 Indian Punjabi<\/a>-language comedy-drama<\/a> film directed by Janjot Singh and co-produced by Rhythm Boyz Entertainment<\/a>, Gillz Network and Omjee Star Studios. It stars Amrinder Gill<\/a>, Simi Chahal<\/a>, Iftikhar Thakur<\/a>, Nasir Chinyoti<\/a>, Akram Udas, Hardeep Gill and Gurshabad<\/a>. The film revolves around Punjabis<\/a>trying hard to make a living in a foreign land. It marked the feature film directorial debut for Janjot Singh. The film written by Rakesh Dhawan, started its Principal photography<\/a> in May 2019 at Birmingham<\/a>, and ended in June 2019. Additional filming took place in Lahore<\/a> and some parts of Punjab, India<\/a>. Soundtrack of the film is composed by Dr Zeus<\/a> and Gurcharan Singh, which features vocals from Gill, Gurshabad, Nimrat Khaira<\/a>, and Bir Singh. It was released in India on 26 July 2019. As of 20 September 2019, the film has grossed \u20b930 crore<\/span> (US$4.3\u00a0million) globally, making it one of highest-grossing Punjabi films<\/a> and highest-grossing Punjabi film at overseas<\/a> with an overseas gross over US$3.6 million.<\/p>\n
