Judy<\/b><\/i> is a 2019 biographical<\/a> drama film<\/a> about the life of American actress and singer Judy Garland<\/a> in 1968 as she arrives in London for a run of sell-out concerts at the Talk of the Town<\/a>. Directed by Rupert Goold<\/a>, it is an adaptation of the Olivier<\/a>– and Tony<\/a>-nominated West End<\/a> and Broadway<\/a> play End of the Rainbow<\/a><\/i> by Peter Quilter<\/a>. The film stars Ren\u00e9e Zellweger<\/a> as Garland, with Jessie Buckley<\/a>, Finn Wittrock<\/a>, Rufus Sewell<\/a>, and Michael Gambon<\/a> in supporting roles.[2]<\/a><\/sup>[3] <\/a><\/sup>The film had its world premiere at the Telluride Film Festival<\/a> on 30 August 2019 and was theatrically released in the United States on 27 September 2019, and is scheduled to be in the United Kingdom on 2 October 2019.
