Clash of Champions (2019)<\/b> was a professional wrestling<\/a> pay-per-view<\/a> and WWE Network<\/a> event<\/a> produced by WWE<\/a> for their Raw<\/a>, SmackDown<\/a>, and 205 Live<\/a> brands<\/a>. It took place on September 15, 2019, at Spectrum Center<\/a> in Charlotte, North Carolina<\/a>.[1]<\/a><\/sup>[2]<\/a><\/sup> It was the third event under the Clash of Champions<\/a> chronology. As per the theme of the event, all of WWE’s titles across the Raw, SmackDown, and 205 Live brands were defended. Eleven matches were contested at the event, including two on the pre-show. In the main event, Seth Rollins<\/a> defeated Braun Strowman<\/a> to retain the Universal Championship<\/a>. In other prominent matches, Kofi Kingston<\/a> retained the WWE Championship<\/a> against Randy Orton<\/a>, Bayley<\/a> defeated Charlotte Flair<\/a> to retain the SmackDown Women’s Championship<\/a>, and the Raw Women’s Championship<\/a> match between Becky Lynch<\/a> and Sasha Banks<\/a> ended in a disqualification win for Banks, but with Lynch retaining. In the only non-title match on the card, Erick Rowan<\/a> defeated Roman Reigns<\/a> in a No Disqualification match<\/a> thanks to the returning Luke Harper<\/a>. Of WWE’s eleven championships across Raw, SmackDown, and 205 Live, only the Raw Tag Team Championship<\/a> and SmackDown Tag Team Championship<\/a> changed hands. Dolph Ziggler<\/a> and Robert Roode<\/a> defeated Seth Rollins and Braun Strowman to win the Raw title, while The Revival<\/a> (Scott Dawson<\/a> and Dash Wilder<\/a>) defeated The New Day<\/a>‘s Big E<\/a> and Xavier Woods<\/a> to win the SmackDown title.<\/p>\n
