Shadaa<\/b><\/i> (transl.<\/abbr>\u2009Bachelor) is a 2019 Indian Punjabi-language romantic comedy<\/a>[3]<\/a><\/sup> film written and directed by Jagdeep Sidhu<\/a>, and co-produced by A & A Advisors and Brat Films of Anurag Singh<\/a>. The film starring Diljit Dosanjh<\/a> and Neeru Bajwa<\/a>, follows the story of an average man looking for a bride and what happens when he finally marries a girl who thinks marriage is beautiful.[4]<\/a><\/sup> Shadaa<\/i> also features Hardeep Gill, Anita Devgn, and Jagjeet Sandhu<\/a> in supporting roles. Principal photography<\/a> of the film began on 30 September 2018[5]<\/a><\/sup> and completed on 8 May 2019.[6]<\/a><\/sup> The music rights of the film are with Zee Music Company<\/a>. Soundtrack of the film was composed by Nick Dhammu, JSL Singh, and V Rakx Music, which features vocals from Dosanjh, Raj Ranjodh, and Shipra Goyal<\/a>. The film was theatrical released worldwide on 21 June 2019.[1]<\/a><\/sup> The film was opened to positive response by critics. Shaada grossed \u20b931 million<\/span> (US$450,000) on its opening day and \u20b9108.9 million<\/span> (US$1.6\u00a0million) in its opening weekend domestically, making the all time opening records<\/a> in Punjabi cinema<\/a>.
