The film stars Kevin de Paula, Vincent D’Onofrio<\/a>, Rodrigo Santoro<\/a>, Diego Boneta<\/a> and Colm Meaney<\/a>. The film is centered on the relationship between the character Pele and his father.<\/p>\n

The principal photography commenced in Rio de Janeiro in September 2013 and later, entirely filmed in Brazil until late 2014. The film was released to negative critical response, film critics<\/a> pointing out the flaws in narrative, criticising the lacking of depth.

Under guidance from manager Vicente Feola (Vincent D’Onofrio), young Pel\u00e9 (Kevin de Paula) utilizes his street soccer skills to lead Brazil to the World Cup in 1958.<\/div><\/div>\n
