The pregnant Hortensia (<a title=\"Inma Cuesta\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Inma_Cuesta\">Inma Cuesta<\/a>) is locked away in a crowded women\u2019s prison. Her younger sister Pepita (<a title=\"Mar\u00eda Le\u00f3n (actress)\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Mar%C3%ADa_Le%C3%B3n_(actress)\">Mar\u00eda Le\u00f3n<\/a>) moves from Andalusia to Madrid to be near her. In Madrid she finds a job in a wealthy home with close ties to <a title=\"Francisco Franco\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Francisco_Franco\">Franco<\/a>.
