The story, set in <a title=\"Vienna\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Vienna\">Vienna<\/a>, Austria, during the latter half of the 18th century, is a fictionalized biography of <a title=\"Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Wolfgang_Amadeus_Mozart\">Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart<\/a>. Mozart&#8217;s music is heard extensively in the soundtrack of the film.
